The Walk and Talk program is for you if:
> You would like to create healthier exercise habits
> You are in a process of transition
> You are isolated, anxious or depressed
> You would like to improve the quality of your relationships
> You’ve recently experienced a major life change
> You are new to the area and know few people
> You would like to create and be part of a community
> You crave authentic connection with others
> You would like to expand your circle of friends
> You would like more energy and vitality
> You would like more interaction with the natural environment
By the end of the six or eight week program (depending on the term) you should be able to:
> Apply active listening skills.
> Own your feelings in response to others.
> Give structured feedback which is concrete, observable and empathic.
> Give empathic responses rather than advice.
> Apply Walk & Talk skills with people outside the group.
> Enjoy new exercise habits and a network of buddies.
